Out of Town Visitors and Families

Visitors are always welcome at St. Mary's!  Iron Mountain has many fine hotels and restaurants if you wish to make a weekend out of your visit to our parish. There are often weekend festivals in the downtown area so please check ahead if you plan to spend the night in a hotel as they can fill up quickly around those events.

St. Mary's is a family friendly parish.  Families are welcome and encouraged to be active participants in the services. We do have a live high definition broadcast of the services on two large televisions in our fellowship room for those times children might need a place to stretch their legs. Parents are encouraged to use the fellowship room as a quieting space as needed during services.  We do not provide childcare, so parents must stay with their children in the fellowship area. Food and drink must stay in the fellowship area.

Please also refer to the Archdiocese church etiquette booklet on the "about Orthodoxy" tab for additional information if this is your first visit to an Orthodox church. About Orthodoxy
